Killing for fun?

Really crazy things do happen in this world and my curious mind always wondered why do some people do the things they do. It was all over the news. - A failed attempt by some young boys on the democratic presidential candidate, Barak Obama. - Jennifer Hudson's 7-year old nephew found dead. - and on and on...
Listening to those news and looking at the suspects' faces displayed on the TV made me to ask myself:
"What is in a killer's mind?" Why do people kill others? Out of curiosity, I asked some friends and you'll be shocked at some of the reasons that came up. Enjoy! Frustration : When people get frustrated due to severe economic situation, lack or loss of job, peer pressure to survive, and the like could lead anyone to carry out such an act. I am not a medical expert but I guess frustration could have effect on mental state of an individual
Fun : You will be surprised that some can kill just to have fun by watching the victim dead. Vengance : People can go to any extent to avenge a percieved wrong done against them. Forgiveness is definitely not in such people's mind. Common among the young ones is a situation when a girl leaves her boyfriend for another boy. Fame and Popularity: This is another scary one. Just to become popular, some people believe you can achieve fame and instant popularity by killing a prominent figure. Money: Ever heard of this hit song by ABBA? "Money! Money! Money! It's a rich man's world"
People can go to any extent to get at money - including killing during a bank robbery. I am very sure there are several other reasons I can't just think of now. I will appreciate if you can leave a comment and let us know what you think and why you think people kill others.
